Finance Assistant
Location: Trigate, Oldbury B68
Hours: Flexible between 20-35 per week depending on skill level, office based with option for some hybrid working
Salary: £26,340 per annum FTE-pro rated for part time hours

We are looking for an experienced Finance Assistant to join our team; to join the current Finance Assistant, Finance Manager and Director of Finance & Resources with the day to day running of the Finance Department.
Duties will include, but not limited to, Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger, Bank reconciliations, collating payroll information, and general finance duties. There is opportunity to progress and learn other areas of Finance in the future.
This role will initially be office based and there will be an option for some hybrid working once fully trained.
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with previous experience of working in a financial environment with a strong financial background of at least 2 years.
You should be experienced in working with SAGE 50, Microsoft Excel and Word with a good working knowledge of accounting procedures. Good organisational skills are essential, and you must be able to work accurately, methodically and be able to meet deadlines.

Tenant Engagement & Involvement Coordinator
Location: Head Office, Oldbury B68
Hours: 35-hours per week, 9am-5pm
Salary: £26,000 per annum
New Outlook has been providing housing and care services to people with sensory impairment across the West Midlands for over 170 years.
We currently have 10 Care and Supported Living services across Birmingham, and some General Needs properties in Redditch.
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who has at least 2 years’ previous experience of working in a Housing environment and with engaging and empowering tenants. This is a real opportunity to join a growing organisation that is flexible and supportive.
You should have awareness of Tenant Satisfaction Measures, the National Housing Federations ‘Together with Tenants’ initiative, and an understanding of the legal framework and legislation around tenant involvement, as well as an understanding of the role of an Engagement and Involvement Coordinator.
You will be responsible for recruiting and engaging tenants to participate in tenant involvement opportunities and promoting a people’s panel, as well as creating events for tenants, external stakeholders, and community groups.
You should be proficient in using internal housing systems to update people’s records and have a good understanding of Microsoft packages, to include Word and Excel.
Duties for this role will include but are not limited to, ensuring tenant involvement with a focus on setting up forums and surgeries for tenants, signposting tenants to external agencies within the community who can enhance our support, arranging social events, supporting the Housing Manager with measuring customer satisfaction, and report writing based on meetings held with tenants.
As an Engagement & Involvement Coordinator, you will be working with tenants with varied needs, therefore you must be flexible in your approach with excellent listening skills and a high level of empathy and understanding. You should be self-motivated, capable of independently managing your office schedule, and conducting on-site visits to services. You will occasionally visit our properties in Redditch, so the commitment to visit different sites is essential. You should be prepared to work occasionally outside of office hours to meet the needs of tenants.
Please note, this role requires you to have a full UK Driving Licence and use of a car for business purposes as it will not be based at one site. You will also be required to apply for enhanced DBS clearance, together with evidence of the Right to Work in the UK. Evidence of these will need to be shown at the interview stage.

Care & Support Worker – Selly Oak
Location: Tulip Gardens, Selly Oak, B29
Hours: 35-hours per week
Salary: £11.60 per hour
New Outlook has been providing housing and care services to people with sensory impairment across the West Midlands for over 170 years.
Tulip Gardens is a CQC registered service that provides 24-hour specialist care and support to vulnerable adults aged 18-65 with a sensory impairment, as well as other physical and learning disabilities.
We are looking for an experienced care worker to join the staff team at Tulip Gardens. You should have at least 2 years’ previous experience in a care worker role.
Duties include providing personal care, administering of medication, assisting with activities, assisting with shopping and meal preparation, person-centred planning, maintaining all necessary records and documentation, domestic tasks where required. You will need to be flexible, caring, and show a genuine willingness to undertake further training as required.
Tulip Gardens has a 7-day rolling rota; and you will be required to work shift times 8am-3pm, and 3pm-10pm, that will cover weekdays and weekends, and Bank Holidays where appropriate.
Please note, you must be able to work 35-hours per week, without visa restrictions. You will also need to provide enhanced DBS clearance, together with evidence of your Right to Work in the UK.
