Our two supported housing schemes, located in Birmingham, comprise purpose-built apartments for people who have a visual impairment or sight loss. Each apartment is self-contained and there are a range of communal facilities. We can also offer on-site care and support if required.
We also have self-contained apartments available at other schemes for younger adults with a visual impairment or other specialist need, as well as en-suite bedrooms with shared living and kitchen space.
New Outlook can also provide a range of Care and Support packages in your own home. Our highly professional team of home support workers offer a high quality, flexible, responsive, and cost-effective service.
Packages can be from an hour a week, several visits a day, or 24-hour care.
Albert Weedall Centre
The Albert Weedall Centre is a supported housing scheme situated in the Birmingham suburb of Erdington. It is for people with sight loss. The site comprises 25 one-bedroom apartments that are specifically adapted to the needs of those with a visual impairment.

Queen Mother Gardens
Queen Mother Gardens is a purpose-built property that provides very supported accommodation, with 24 hour support for people with sight loss. Queen Mother Gardens is based in Harborne, Birmingham and was officially opened by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother in 1991.

Chatham Place
We provide Care and Support packages to tenants with a visual impairment and sight loss at Chatham Place, Northfield in partnership with Midland Heart HA who own and manage the building.
Northfield – Birmingham
This property offers Supported Living in the Northfield area of Birmingham. It is a large flat, that has been refurbished to offer en-suite accommodation and shared kitchen and living space for three people with a visual impairment or other specialist need. It also has a lovely secluded garden and good access to local services and transport.
Silver Birch
Silver Birch in Erdington offers self-contained accommodation with on-site support to help you remain independent. It has four apartments, each varying in size and layout, communal space and attractive accessible gardens.
